What to pitch

Send a focused proposal with a working title, the central question, the main points you would cover and why the subject would interest our readers. Explain what makes the idea specific, what a reader will understand by the end and which section it might suit. We prefer an original angle to a broad roundup or a list of familiar tips.

The right fit

Strong contributions are precise, readable and useful beyond a short-lived trend. We welcome thoughtful explanations, comparisons, histories and carefully scoped features. Avoid unsupported claims, disguised advertising and advice that depends on specialist approval, safety checks or local requirements.
